Dark and Light Modes

Dark mode

Reduces eye strain in low-light environments. Easier on the eyes during late-night work sessions. Uses carefully chosen contrast ratios so text remains readable without being harsh.

Light mode

Clean and bright for well-lit environments. Matches the look of most document editors and email clients if you prefer visual consistency across your tools.

System mode

Follows your operating system's theme preference. Switch to dark mode at night and light mode during the day automatically.

Toggle between modes instantly from the command bar (Cmd+K, type "dark" or "light") or from settings.

Font Customization

Font types

Choose the typeface that's most comfortable for your reading:

• Sans-serif: Clean and modern. Default choice for most users.
• Serif: Traditional and easy on the eyes for long reading sessions.
• Monospace: Technical feel, consistent character width. Preferred by developers.

Font sizes

Adjust text size to your preference:

• Small: More content visible on screen
• Base: Balanced readability and density
• Large: Easier reading, especially on high-resolution displays

Adjustable Chat Width

Beyond theme and font, you can drag the chat width to match your preference. Working on a wide monitor? Expand the chat for more comfortable reading. On a laptop? Narrow it down to reduce line length and improve readability.

Your width preference is saved and persists across sessions.

Quick Switching

All appearance settings are accessible from the command bar. No need to navigate to settings pages:

• Cmd+K, type "dark" to switch to dark mode
• Cmd+K, type "serif" to change font
• Cmd+K, type "large" to increase font size

Changes apply instantly. Experiment until you find what works.
